Lumphini Park is a public park located in the heart of the city and is the first public park in Thailand. It was opened in 1925. This park offers a variety of activities, both on land and on water. There are cycling, running, as well as a playground, yoga areas, and aerobic zones. For water activities, there are paddle boat rides. This park is also the venue for the Thai Red Cross Fair.
This plaza was built to commemorate the benevolence of the founder of Lumphini Park, King Rama VI.

Lumphini park is near MRT Blue Line, Silom Station. Take Exit 1 and you will see the King Rama VI Monument. You can walk into the event from that door.
